Genting Heighland (KL)

Genting Highland is a hill station at the height of 1,800 meters, located on the peak of Mount Ulu Kali in Malaysia. It is a cool hill station surrounded by mountains with cool air and majestic 100 million –year rainforest.

It is about an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur.

For Malaysians as well as for many tourists ,“City of Entertainment” or Genting Highlands is a perfect getaway destinations who want to escape the hot and humid weather of Kaulalumpur and other destinations.The temperatures vary around 16/24 degrees which is quite cold as it is 6000 meters above sea level.

Chin Swee Cave Temple

Chin Swee Caves Temple is a Chinese temple and is the most panoramic site of Genting Highlands.The temple is located 4,600 feet above sea level in rocky forested land.

Withen the temple is seated a statue of Qingshul,a Buddist monk who has long been referred to as a divinity in Fujian Province,Chinafor.

Accommodations

There are seven Resorts in Genting Heighland,out of which one resort was the First World Hotel,which was given the honor in Guinness Book of World Record as the largest hotel in the world from 2006 until 2008 and regained the title in 2015 with 7,351 rooms.

Awana Skyway Gondolas

Awana Skyway Gondolas are the most convenient way to reach the peak of Genting Highlands.This cable car system takes about 10 minutes from Awana Station to SkyAvenue Station,which is directly connected to the SkyAvenue Shopping Mall where you can find an array of shopping,dining and entertainment options.

These gondolas offer a bird’s eye wiew of 130 million year old rainforest.The standard gondolas can accommodate up to 10 passengers while glass-floor gondola accommodates six passengers.

All gondola have louvers to provide entilation and power outlets to charge mobile phones.

Genting Highlands Strawberry Leisure Farm is a family friendly attraction at Gohtong Jaya,which specializes in hydroponic strawberry farming.

Along with strawberries,the farm also produces and sells,herbs,vegitables ,mushrooms and honey.It is a place to enjoy and buy fresh fruits and vegitables.

Visiters can stroll through picturesque lavender gardens or visit coffee shop for some strawberry coffee.They can take thier pictures with local snakes or colorful parrots.

The snow Genting world is an artificial snow park with different attractions and is designed in a way that will make you travel into the world of snow.

Genting Highlands Theme Park

The highland has a theme park where the whole family can enjoy.The theme park has both indoor and outdoor attractions,which includes the Snow World where the temperature is -6 Celsuis and which is delightful attraction full of fairyland fantasies and wonderland wonders.
